This is a very simple and effective game. As a bonus, the kids need to be quiet as well. You could also call it the quiet game. Being patient and being quiet tend to go hand in hand, don’t they? Learning to be quiet is an important part of being patient. Also, this game teaches kids the importance of not interrupting others and waiting for the right time to speak.
How to play
There is just one rule: don’t make a sound.
Sit the children across from each other. Without touching one another or making any sound, they have to try and make the other person laugh. The one who stays absolutely silent gets the point. The first person to reach five points wins.
Over time, children will get better and better at controlling themselves and sitting silently.
